Obituary of Gertrude Helen Capitano

Capitano Gertrude H. Capitano (nee Watson) died peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on Monday July 3, 2000 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Frank J. Capitano Sr., (August, 1996). Dear mother of Frank Capitano Jr., and his wife Shawne Murphy, Father William Capitano, and Anne Kelly. Beloved grandmother of Mary Elizabeth Capitano, Katherine Capitano, Margaret Lindsay and her husband Scott, Jeff Kelly, Stephen Kelly and his fiancee Julie Moorhead. Great grandmother of Zachary Lindsay. Predeceased by her siblings Lee, Jim, George, Mary, Agnes, and Robert. Survived by extended family member Rose Watson, Helen Marshall, Amelia Capitano, Betty Capitano, Tony and Dorothy Capitano, Vic and Kay Capitano and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her friends and caregivers at Trafalgar Terrace. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King St., London, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8:15 o'clock. Donations to ChildReach Centre, 265 Maitland St., would be appreciated.
