Obituary of Lily Borda Sunio

SUNIO, Lily Borda of London, Ontario, Canada and New Lucena, Iloilo, Philippines, loving and compassionate Mother, Grandmother, and Teacher, peacefully joined our Creator at her home in Cheswick Circle, London, Ontario at age 94 on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Predeceased by husband Cayetano M. Sunio. Dear mother of Maria Luisa Sumabat and her husband Washington, Maria Goria Sunio, Cayetano Sunio Jr., Roberto Sunio and his wife Herminia, Rafael Dennis Sunio and his wife Angelita, and Jesus Rey Sunio and his wife Josephine. Survived by 8 grandchildren – Trisha, Tristan, Conly, Quenna, Lily Kristine, Caesar Percival, Jonathan and Jason, and 4 great grandchildren - Saloni, Aziz, Tushiyah and Tamim. Her remains lie in state at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street where visitors, friends and relatives will be received on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin’s Parish Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment follows at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
