Obituary of William Joseph Reidy

Reidy William Joseph (Bill) Reidy in his 63rd year passed away suddenly on Friday, December 17, 1999 in Hamilton, Ont. He was born in London, Ont., the son of the late Mrs. Jean (nee Fortnum) and Mr. Joseph Reidy, as the youngest of their 10 children. Brother and brother in law of Donald and Thelma Reidy of Owen Sound, Patrick Reidy, Jean Dicker, Madeline and Ray Dobbyn, all of London, Violet and Brian Hawkes of Tuscon, Arizonia, Margaret and Robert James Ryan of Waterloo, Ont. Uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as great and great greatnieces and nephews. Loved by all his family and friends. Predeceased by three brothers Jack, Joseph and Kenneth Reidy, sister in laws Lottie and Shirley Reidy and brother in law Edward Dicker. Sincere thanks to Dr. Walter D.J. Owsianik and Brenda Rockabella (Home Care) for their care and kindness towards Bill. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Mass of celebration of Bill's life will be held at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10:15 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Expressions of sympathy in Bill's memory may be made to the Head Injury Association, Children's Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
