Obituary of Mary Patricia Smith

Smith, Patsy Mary Patricia (Patsy), Cal's better half for 64 years, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in London's University Hospital. Born in Kitchener, December 11, 1924, to Fred and Hilda Mullins, Patsy was most spirited and served in WW II in the Woman's Air Corp. She will be remembered for her wit, humour, constant love for her family, sound advice (whether solicited or not), finding a good sale and an uncanny ability to return almost anything. In addition to her husband, Patsy is survived by her daughters: Sharon Steciuk (Bill) and their children Fred, Suzanne and Maggie; and Moe Hagarty (Mike) and their children Jon, Meg, Jeff, Jed and Cal. Predeceased by her son, Freddie Smith (1971). Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday evening, January 24th from 7-9 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon, January 25th at 2 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London Food Bank or the Heart Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
