With great sadness the family announces the death of Helen Mary Frances Dutton (Hanbidge) in her 82nd year at London Health Sciences Centre on December 1, 2003. Caring and devoted wife for 59 years of Edward Dutton. Loving mother of Judy and her husband Chris Clackett of Oakville, Michael and his wife Eileen Dutton of London, Rob and his wife Linda Dutton of Elora, Jan and her husband Tom Rulon of Belcarra, Nancy and her husband Wayne Lasher of Edmonton and Jackie and her husband Gerry Heffernan of London. Cherished grandmother of Robert and Amy Clackett, Andrea, Nicole and Sean Dutton, Sara and Emily Dutton, Chelsea and Calais Rulon, Jeffrey, Stephanie and Lauren Lasher, and Brendan, Matthew and Nicholas Heffernan. Dearly missed by her sister Shirley and husband Ken Hayward, her brother Hank and wife Audrey Hanbidge, her brother Bob Hanbidge and sister-in-law Joan Hanbidge. Aunt Helen will be sadly missed by all her loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Eva (Thede) Hanbidge, her dear grandson Andrew Clackett, brother Leith Hanbidge and sisters-in-law Dorothy and Ida Hanbidge. Helen has touched the lives of many people as a special friend and dedicated nurse. Friends will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday at Holy Rosary Church, 712 Whetter Avenue, London. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Thank you to Dr. Cejic and the staff at the Byron Medical Centre, the Family Medicine team (6th Floor West, Westminster Campus) and the staff of Longworth Retirement Residence for their kindness, care and compassion.
