Obituary of Dorothy Joan Capitano

CAPITANO, Dorothy Joan- Passed away peacefully with her beloved husband at her side on November 9, 2012 at L.H.S.C. University Hospital in her 89th year. Devoted wife of Tony for more than 60 years. Cherished mother of Lisa Daniel (John), Tony Capitano (Barb), Christine Capitano (Stephen) and Carla Kivell (Brent). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kristie, Greg (Jessie), Melissa (Sheldon), Courtney, Leah (Wassim) and great grandson Isaac. Dear sister of Donald James (Lois), Shirley Whitney (late Don), Carol Stephen (late Ralph). Remembered by Kay Capitano, Betty Capitano and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Ada James. The family wish to thank the staff at University Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday evening from 7-9 o'clock. Prayers at 8:30 o'clock. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue at Richmond on Thursday morning November 15, 2012 at 11 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of one's choice.
