Obituary of Bernard Vincent Henry

Henry, Bernard Vincent (Bun) Peacefully at home in his own bed with sons Joe and Jerry by his side on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Bernard Vincent "Bun" Henry age 96 years, 3 months shy of his 97th birthday party. Predeceased by his dear wife Blanche (1981). Proud father of Jerry Henry, Bernie (Brian) Legg, Liz (Jim) Druce and Joe B. (Darlene) Henry. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Kim) Legg, Michael Legg (Fiona), Julia (Rob), Jeremy (Lila) and Emma Druce and Scott and Michelle Henry. Predeceased by his siblings Frank (Mary) Henry, Marie (Phil) Pook, Joseph (Catherine) Henry and Leo (Noreen) Henry and his loving friend Pat Doig (2001). Survived by his sister in law Jeanne Bartley. Uncle Bun will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Sunday afternoon from 2-4 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Saturday evening at 8:45. Donations to the Sisters of the Precious Blood, Parkinson Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
