Devoted and loving father of Michael and his wife Nonie Brennan; Bob and his friend Maureen Murphy; Patty; Tom and his wife Anne Marie; and, Cathy. Dear brother of Marion Brain and predeceased by his brother Frank, and his sisters Helene and Katherine. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was an accomplished athlete in high school and university and was inducted into the Western 'W' Club in 1999. After brief stops in Simcoe and Windsor, Bob spent the majority of his teaching career at Medway High School in Arva, teaching and coaching countless students. Outside of the classroom, Bob was truly a renaissance man with such varied pursuits and accomplishments as champion rose grower, bridge player, informal care giver, woodworker, embroiderer of Irish dance costumes, OSSTF area treasurer, cook and his proudest role - husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The family would like to thank the staff of University Hospital, especially the Palliative Care Team for their remarkably compassionate care. Visitors will be received at the JOHN T.
