Happy memories of June on her visits to England and on our visit to Canada where we were made incredibly welcome. A huge banner on the gate of the ranch set the tone for a wonderful visit. Over the years letters passed between us regularly always full of family news. One of our warmest memories was of the laughter we shared over the old photo albums which dated back to her father's time in Africa at the end of the 19c. Michael clearly remembers being at June and Ted's wedding aged thirteen.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, Michelle. When I read her bio, so many similarities with that of my Mom - also from England, also born in 1924 - and also married a Canadian Soldier. I am sure she will be sorely missed. Thinking of you.
