I remember John Ditlejan from Clarke Road High School and from before that. He lived in my neighborhood. Sometime we would walk to school together in the snow and talk. Other times we would walk home from school when the weather was warm. John was a super-nice guy who was often shy but always friendly to me. We never had a harsh word together. He was my friend, always quiet and strong and always present. I lost track of him after I went away to school over 40 years ago and I often wondered what happened to him and if I would ever see him again. Now I guess I never will. My condolences to his brothers and other family members. John's memory and his spirit will live on in my heart. Jerry Healey
