Obituary of Bernard Fitz-Gerald

FITZ-GERALD, Bernard T. - Passed away on July 15, 2012 at Parkwood Hospital after a short battle with cancer in his 83rd year. Bernard was predeceased by his wife Audrey (1984). He is survived by sons Dan (Lillian) and John, and grandchildren James, Keith, Christopher and Meghann. Proud great-grandfather of 4. He is also survived by brothers Ted and Pat and sister Peg Virag and several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday July 19, 2012 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation be considered.
