Obituary of Robert Charles Hunter

Robert Charles Hunter (Bob) passed away at home on June 7th 2012 in his 80th year following a courageous battle with cancer. Retired as Distribution Manager from Hiram Walker Distillery in Windsor in 1990 after 38 years of service. Survived by Donna his loving friend and wife of 60 years; beloved daughters Dale Coulson and husband Michael and family of Windsor; Lisa Mazurek and husband Rob and family of London; son Scott and wife Tineke and family in Holland; and seven amazing grandchildren all who have given him so much joy and love. Also survived by brother Bill & his wife Elaine and family of Windsor and brother in law Robert Moore and wife Alice and family of Windsor. Predeceased by sisters Joan, Marge, and Jackie and brothers Tom and Jim. Special thanks to Dr. M. Parent and the palliative care team, the VON, the CCAC, the nurses from Bayshore, the Canadian Cancer Society's volunteer driver service, and the staff at the London Regional Cancer Program. It was Bob and Donna's wish that there be no visitation or service. A private cremation will be held.
