Obituary of Settimio Faieta

FAIETA, Settimio- Peacefully at home in the loving arms of his family and dear friends on Tuesday June 5, 2012, Settimio (Steve) Faieta, beloved husband of Maria Faieta, in his 71st year. Loving father of Silvano Faieta, Christian Faieta and Alessandro Faieta and his girlfriend Lisa Adams. Dear son of Lucia and the late Mauro Faieta. Dear brother of Pia (late Primo) Stefanucci, Ida (late Qualtiero) Sartoni, Ciriaca (Pasquale) Piccinno, Vincenzina (late Pasquale) Passeri, Remo (Eva) Faieta, Maria (Damiano) Tizzani, Gina Faieta, and Yole (Romeo) Torreggiani. Son-in-law of Adelina Melchiorre and the late Francesco. Brother-in-law of Lucia and Bruno Madonini, Linda (late Duilio) Cantelmi, Mirella (late Giustino) Melchiorre and Monique Faieta. Zio Settimio will be fondly remembered by his many goddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He will be missed by his best pet pals Brittney and Chester. A special thank you to Dr. Brian Taylor, Dr. Doug Quan, Dr. Stephen Welch, Dr. Michael Kovacs, Dr. Dwight Moulin, Dr. Maria Parent, Dr. W.S. Wang, Dr. Michael Lock, the L.H.S.C.-U.H. 8th floor staff, the L.R.C.P. Oncology Dept., and the V.O.N. Palliative Care team, especially nurse Jodi DeGaust for all of their exceptional care. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street on Saturday morning, June 9, 2012 at 10 o'clock. Celebrant is Father John Comiskey. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday at 7:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colorectal Cancer, V.O.N. or St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Mary Immaculate Church would be appreciated.
