Obituary of Giuseppe Rossi

Rossi At The Dearness Home, London on Friday, April 11, 2003 Giuseppe (Joe) Rossi in his 72nd year. Joe was born in Torricella Peligna, Italy on Oct. 8, 1931 to Francesco and Rosina (Aspromonte) Rossi. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 bringing with him his sense of adventure, easy-going manner, generosity, kind heartedness and sense of humour which won him many friends. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Dear brother to 4 siblings; he is survived by his twin brother Rinaldo Rossi and his wife Maria of Paris France, his sisters; Angela Ficca and her husband Camillo of Paris, France, Domenica Verratti and her husband Giuseppe of London, Ontario and Gianina DiLuzio and her husband Nicola of Montreal, PQ. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock and Monday evening from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 89 Charles Street, on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
