Obituary of Sister Marguerite Trudell

Sister Marguerite Trudell Of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London on May 17, 2012 at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, in her 83rd year of life and 59th year of religious profession. Lovingly remembered by all her sisters in community, her brother Francis and her sisters Loretta, Florence, Rose Marie. Predeceased by her sisters Evelyn and Yvonne, and brother Bernard.Sister Marguerite taught elementary school in Windsor for almost twenty years, during which time she was known by her religious name Sister Mary Rosamund. Retiring from teaching she successfully fulfilled a six year position of Assistant Secretary to the General Council of the community, followed by four years secretarial assistance in the Pastoral Care Department at St. Joseph`s Hospital London. From 1987 - 1995 Sister served as secretary to Bishop Henry, auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of London. During the last twelve years in our Care Centre sister manifested a quiet acceptance of the fragility of life and hope for God's eternal embrace. All services will be held at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 485 Windermere Rd., London. Visitors are welcome from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18. Vigil service: Friday at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment: St. Peter's Cemetery. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home).
