Obituary of Bernard Halsall

Halsall Bernard Joseph Halsall, 92, of London, Ontario peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 13, 2012, with his loving family at his side. He was born August 21, 1919 in London, Ontario, the only son of Joseph and Frances Halsall. Bernard was the loving husband of the late Edith Marie Halsall (nee O'Hagan, April 18, 1986). He is survived by his four daughters, Rosemary (Charles) Marianik, Mary-Jane Sinker, Anne (George) White, Elaine (Doug) Brown. Loving grandfather of Chuck, Jennifer, Andrew, Ben, Daniel, Rebecca and Amy and dear great-grandfather of Chuckie, Lily, Fionn and Makenna. He served as a Private in the Canadian Armed Forces in World War II. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Parish and Holy Family Parish and was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Thursday, April 19th from 7-9 o'clock. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street on Friday, April 20th at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
