Michael Anthony Manzara of London, Ontario passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024 after a lengthy stay at University Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff for their wonderful care. Michael was born in London, Ontario on September 25, 1951. After graduating from Beal Secondary School, Michael went on to become a licensed welder working for Stelco, General Motors and General Dynamics, which gave him opportunity to travel internationally until he officially retired in 2008. He continued working at Fanshawe college and Grace motors for a few years in retirement. He loved anything to do with live music and dancing and was founder of the original Boomer Bash. He loved gathering and bringing people together and just having a good time. He also loved to tinker with anything that had a motor or was made with wood. He will be greatly missed by his kids Michelle (Jeff), Nathan and Jordan, grandkids Jacob, Atlas and Ava, sisters Sr. Loretta Manzara, Marion Glover and Teresa Mitchell (Steve) and brother Deacon Joe Manzara (Lori). Predeceased by parents Lorne and Mary Manzara and brother Fred Manzara. Greatly loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Visitation and service will take place at Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St, London, Ontario on November 28 from 2-4 and 7-9, and November 29 visitation 10 am and service at 11am followed by interment at St Peter's Cemetery.
