Rosemary Margaret Louise Cranney (nee Yeates), a beloved and devoted member of her church, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Born to Ursula and Charles Yeates on April 6, 1938, in Calendar, Ontario. Dear sister of Juanita (Babineau)(predeceased), Charles, Lloyd, Victor and Ursula (Van Oosten). Rosemary lived a life filled with faith, creativity, and compassion.
Loving mother of Terry Cranney, Tamela Kuzma and Rose (Nathan) Paemurd. Predeceased by her son Trevor (Jennifer) Cranney. Proud grandmother of John Micheal Cranney(predeceased), Ashley, Zach and Austin Cranney, Alexa, Sydney, Joshua and Ben Paemurd.
Her creative spirit shone brightly through her many artistic endeavors. Rosemary found joy in sketching and painting, weaving vivid colours and scenes that reflected her love for life. She also had a talent for crafting with yarn, creating beautiful pieces that were cherished by family, friends and those in need.
A gardener at heart, Rosemary spent countless hours nurturing her flowers and vegetables, finding peace and purpose in the beauty of nature. She opened her home to foster children, offering love, guidance, and stability to those in need.
A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, on Tuesday, November 26th, beginning at 10am, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to ALS Society of Canada.
