Obituary of Angela Laura Ryan
Angela Laura born May 31, 1952 Died, Peacefully, November 7, 2024 at Earls Court Longterm Care home, London, Ontario. Angie Ryan was pre-deceased by her parents Mary (McCann) and Thomas Ryan her siblings, Vincent Ryan, Mary-Ellen Ryan Buttle, Anne Ryan Murphy, and Tom Ryan. Angie is survived by her siblings Joe Ryan ( Lynn) Kate Ryan (Gord), Hugh Ryan (Diane), Kristy Stewart (Allan) and Bridget Ryan (Greg), godchildren, Charlene Eagleson & Ryan Stewart and her nieces and nephews.
Angie was the fifth eldest in a family of 10 children. She was born in London Ontario and grew up in Mount Carmel Ontario on a farm. Angie studied nursing at Saint Joseph’s hospital in Branford Ontario and worked for the early part of her nursing career at University Hospital in London. For a period of time, Angie was a partner/owner in a small printing business and for much of her life contributed extensively as a volunteer for many charitable, church and community groups. She was a fierce advocate for basic human rights and accessibility for all. Angie had a deep catholic faith, has been a huge inspiration to all those who knew her— her favourite slogan was ‘connecting and communicating’.
Visitation will take place Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, London at 10:00am. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am. A reception will be held immediately following the Funeral Mass in the Parish Hall.
