The family of Edward Thomas Kenny are saddened to announce his passing on September 3, 2024.  Edward passed away at Arbor Trace Care Centre in his 83rd year.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Freda Elizabeth Kenny (nee Morris) (2022).  He is survived by his loving children Mari Kenny (Dave Croteau)  and Andrew Kenny (Jaclyn).  He will be missed by his beautiful granddaughters Lisa and Julie.  Dear brother of Mary (Paul) Slivka, Cathie Kenny, Patricia (late Don) Lyons, late Carol Kenny, and Elizabeth Kenny.  Dear brother in law of Rhoda (Gerry) Reid, Linda (Dennis) Lucas,  and Dr. William Morris (Sheila) .  Uncle Ed will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Edward was born in Everett, Massachusetts.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and then became an educator in Newfoundland and in Northern Ontario before settling in London to be closer to his granddaughters.  

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, September 10 from 6-8 o'clock.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Basilica , 196 Dufferin Avenue on Wednesday morning, September 11 at 10 am.    Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Edward are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
