Obituary of George Wardrop

George Wardrop loving husband of Geneva peacefully passed away June 1st 2024 at the age of 87 years old. He was born June 26th 1936 in Edmonton, Alberta second Son of George and Mary Wardrop. He married the love of his life Geneva Salkeld on February 19th 1964. He had and is survived by his three sons George , James, Daniel and his eleven grandchildren Celia, Charles, George, Jim, Bettyjane, Katherine, Tommy, Frances, Joseph and Emma. And his nine great grandchildren Eddie, Braxton, Royce, Grace, Priscilla, Scarlett, Luca , Vienna Rose and Jude. He was predeceased by his father George mother Mary Brother Charlie and Grandson Daniel. 

George was a priceless rare gem, loved and cherished by all who knew and crossed paths with him. He will be remembered for being the most humble kind and gentle soul he was. The truly devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend he was. His cheerful happy go lucky self. His funny prankster ways but mostly for his kind heart and beautiful infectious smile we will dearly miss. He was a traveler on the roads that has now found his way back home and will deeply be loved missed and cherished forever.
