On May 19, 2024 we said goodbye to the most wonderful father, grandfather and friend. Papa was 86. He is survived by his sons, Paul-Marc (Shelley) and Jean-Pierre (Elham) and four amazing grandchildren: Emily, Aidan, Oscar and Elvis. He is finally reunited with our mother Alma, his beloved wife of 43 years.

The son of Georges and Marie Laure, Papa was one of six siblings: Lily (Joe), Pauline (Maurice), Lise (Robert), Michele, and Yves (Solange). He was blessed with loving in-laws: Rosemary (Lloyd), Betty, Elinor, Joan, Martin, Stanley (Marjorie) and Loreen (Arnold). Generations of cousins, nieces and nephews will remember him as the remarkable man that he was.

Papa had a long esteemed career as a life insurance underwriter. His faith as a devout Catholic was unparalleled. But above all else, he was the kindest, gentlest, funniest soul that ever existed.

Friends and family will be received at John T Donohue Funeral home (362 Waterloo Street in London) on Thursday May 23 at 7 to 9PM, beginning with Celebration of Life prayers. Funeral Mass will be held Friday May 24 at 11AM at St. Andrew's the Apostle Church (1 Fallon Lane in London).

In lieu of flowers, please tell the people in your life how much you love them and then give them the biggest hug possible. Papa would love that.
