Obituary of Bud Fleming

                                                Fleming

Earl "Bud" Fleming, passed away today, May 14th, 2024 in his 100th year.
He was definitely the last of the crusaders.

In his 99 years on this earth, there is not much that he didn't do or see. From going overseas at 17 years of age to fight in WWII, to celebrating his 99th birthday at Barneys in March. (Where this picture was taken)

Dad was born March 12th, 1925 to Hannah (nee Wade) and Samuel Fleming in Sarnia Ontario.

Dad's family then made the move to London, where he spent the remainder of his time.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Bodie) of over 65 years in 2016, and their son Mark in 2023.

Also predeceased by his siblings Lula, Beatrice (Tom McGugan), Fay, Dick (Lila), Jim (Dorothy), and Bill.

Survived by his sister in law Barbara Fleming of Sarnia.

He leaves behind a large family of his own with Wayne (Linda Strickland), Gail, Brad, and Lori (Don Wilson), as well as grandchildren Tammy (Tony). Debbie (Scott Ward), Cole (Amanda), Mike (Julie), Dave (Robyn), Lukas, Rob (Ashley), Ryan (Katarina), great grandchildren Brandon, Logan, Dillon, Bailey, Aurora, Ada, Kingston, Benjamin, Nicholas, and great-great grandchildren Dakota, and Emerson.

Bud will also be missed by his daughter in laws whom he held close to his heart, Helen Fleming (Jim Inder), Linda FInch, and Kathy Sembecos.

He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews that he kept entertained with his many stories. Many of them inappropriate, but that was their Uncle Bud.

We are thankful to have had you and your wit for 99 years strong, however we are still very saddened by this loss.

May you rest in eternal peace Dad.

A private family service will take place, and a celebration of life will be celebrated on a day to be announced in the future.

In leu of flowers, please consider a donation to the local food bank, or the Ronald McDonald House which were very important to Bud.
