Maureen Jansen (nee Payne)

With courage, dignity, and grace surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 25, 2023, Moe completed her earthly journey at the age of 75. Beloved wife and best friend of Rudy Jansen for 27 years. Unmeasurably devoted and most loving Mom of Danielle Stere (Brian), P.J. Sharpe (Adrienne), Krista Jansen (Kevin) and Greg Jansen. Proud and cherished Nana of Carter, Blake and Cooper. Loving sister of Mary Margaret Jarrell (John), Patricia Damaren (Norm), Philip Payne (Barbara), Martha Tucker (Mike), Catherine Kienapple (d.1997) and Bill Payne (d. 2019). Dear sister in law of Bill Kienapple (Mary). Moe will be sadly missed by the extended Jansen family, her many nieces, nephews and cousins all of whom she shared a very special bond with. She will be lovingly remembered with deep affection by her many lifelong friends who shared her passion for golf, bridge and travelling. Moe’s devotion to her faith and unconditional love of her family are the beautiful legacies she leaves with us. We will be forever grateful for all of the lessons that she has taught us. With abundant gratitude we would like to thank Dr. Kirk Hamilton, Lisa, Pauline and Sinoja  for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Tuesday, August 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Wednesday morning at 10am. Cremation with interment at a later date. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, would be greatly appreciated.
