I was fortunate to spend time with Harry over the last 18 months bringing him communion weekly. We had many wonderful chats about his life. His love of photography was evident as was his love for Truce and his Family. He was a beautiful person and i will miss him.

Harry was a welcome and much loved visitor to our Parents in their older age. He visited Mom and Dad for his morning coffee and cookies almost every mooring for many years. Harry always had some interesting story or news from the morning paper and he and my Dad would have big discussions over the most interesting talk of the day. He took them for Doctor appointments and would go to the store to buy their groceries as needed.
We have always been very grateful and thankful to Harry for his loving support for our Parents. Our Dad would have said "God's best zegen"

Dear Truce and family,
So sad to hear of Harry's passing. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.
After the shock of this sad news, my memory went back over all the great times we spent together. That started in 1957 when Truce came to our place to watch me bathe my new baby, she would soon have her own baby and wanted some tips about bathing.
Of the countless evenings and later afternoons of playing cards, where sometimes Harry and I would laugh over an old Dutch saying, which we then had a hard time translating.
The many New Years Eve's we enjoyed together, what great times we had!
Then our years of weekly card playing (which I still miss) came to an abrupt end when Covid came in.
I am saddened by the loss of a true friend.
