Obituary of Young Bok Lee

Lee, Young Bok (Michael) 

Passed away unexpectedly in his sleep peacefully at home on Sunday July 16th 2023 in London Ontario. He celebrated his 54th birthday with his family just a few days back. Born as the youngest among 4 brothers and 2 sisters in South Korea, he was a loving father of three daughters Lee, Kyungwon (Jemma) Lee, Jiwon (Sara) and Lee, Joowon (Anna) Lee. Much loved husband of Nam, Keumhee (Michelle) and many cousins and lifelong friends in London and back home in Korea. 

Michael worked with LG investment securities for a few years and after his daughters were born, has immigrated to Canada. Michael became a chef and started his new career here in London, Ontario. He has worked non-stop for his family by steadily progressing through and eventually earned his way to own his restaurant. 

He is remembered as a humble and a tender hearted individual who loved spending his free time playing golf, grilling barbeque, going for a drive and gardening. His devotion for family will forever be remembered and his wisdom, kindness, compassion, generosity will dearly be missed and will be passed down to his daughters. 

His legacy will never be forgotten

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday evening, July 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Church, 258 Clarke Rd, on Friday morning, July 21 at 10 o'clock.  Interment at a later date.
