Our hearts are saddened to hear of the loss of Annamaria. She was such a lovely lady with smiles for everyone and whenever we'd meet, she never forgot to ask about everyone in the family, with joy and genuine interest.

Annette and I remember Annamaria as always having a smile on her face. So much joy and a genuine interest in how others were doing, even as she herself was dealing with health issues. We remember the family get-together at the cottage Tommy and others rented a couple summers ago, and again Annamaria easily had the biggest smile of anyone there. Wanting to know how we were, asking about our health, about how our kids were doing. Just genuinely happy to see us and that we were doing well. The same when I saw her in the hospital last year -- a big smile, a lot of joy talking about her grandchildren, and of course asking about my granddaughter.
We imagine she had her moments of sadness and even anger at the unfairness of her condition. How could she not? But that was drowned out by her endless positive energy. Certainly we never saw that sadness, just joy. That’s what we will always remember.
Our condolences to my Compare and the rest of the family. She will be missed.

I always liked that she seemed to always be enjoying the moment whenever I saw her. I had the opportunity to have quick visits and FB chats and even though I knew she wasn't feeling well, she still smiled and joked with me. May you rest in peace Annamaria.
