At Arbor Trace Special Care Centre on Monday, May 22, 2023 Ilene Georgina (Johnston) Moir in her 101st year.  Loving wife of the late George Francis Moir (1999).  Dear mother of Virginia Walker and her husband late Ernie (2001),  George Jr. and his wife Bonnie, Mark and his wife Lynn, Teresa Brown and her husband Ted, and Christopher. Predeceased by her sons Michael (1975) and Peter (1993). Dear grandmother of Tammy (Derek) Smith (Lucas, Jackson, Hunter) and late Sarah Walker (2017) (Andrew, Carrissa), Jean, Greg, Tracy (Eric) Moir, Kelly (Josh) Laframboise (Addie), Kristyn (Jason) Hick (Emmett, Cora and Rose), and Erin (Steve) Moir, Michael (Gloria) Brown, Brian (Ania) Brown (Noah, Josh), David (Beth) Brown (Matthew, Grace and Jack) and Julie (Sean) Derks (Logan, Bryson). Predeceased by her grandson-in law Jason Derks (2017).  Ilene was one of 13 children and is survived by her sister Theresa Dieleman. The family would like to thank the staff at Arbor Trace for their patience and care that our mother received.  Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, May 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers will be held Sunday evening at 8:30.  Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 515 Cheapside Street, on Monday morning, May 29 at 11 o'clock.
