Ennett Anne

Anne Elizabeth Ennett died suddenly at University Hospital in London, Ontario on January 31, 2023. She was 72. Loving wife of Gary for 41 years, devoted mother of Jennifer, Jeffrey and David (Briana), doting grandmother of Olivia. Anne was the daughter of late Katherine and late Joseph Burns of Sarnia. She is survived by her sister Marie Burns of Sarnia, brother-in-law Mike Ennett (Laura) of Stratford and sister-in-law Judy Butler (Jim) of London.

Anne was born and raised in Sarnia and graduated from nursing college in London in the early 1970s. She spent most of her career as an obstetrical nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in London and in later years at the Victoria campus of the London Health Sciences Centre. She retired in 2021.

Anne was an avid reader and theatre-goer, and a big fan of BBC-produced crime dramas. She loved to cook and create delectable desserts. She had an eye for fashion and shopped for the best bargains. She had a deep Christian faith and was selflessly committed to her family and the community. She enjoyed travel and was an excellent researcher, skilled at finding information buried deep in the internet that others would often miss.
