Obituary of Peter Grahame Paul Hanford

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter, dear husband, loving father and grandfather on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 75.  Peter was a courageous, kind man who touched and inspired so many lives.  He had an entrepreneurial nature and was the founder of Hanford Tire. Peter was spirited, outgoing and always up for fun. He approached life and sports with enthusiasm. Peter had an infectious laugh, a personality that was larger than life and a smile that would brighten any room.  Involved in the London community in so many ways, he coached and sponsored minor hockey, was an honorary member of the L.E.A., a great supporter of the L.H.S.C. organizing an annual golf tournament and was a beloved, long-time member of Highland Golf & C.C.  He was the adoring husband of Anne Martin and the proud father of Kim Wildi (Karl) and Jeremy (Tracey).  Loving grandpa of Jack, Calvin, Hayden, Pearce and Madeleine.  Predeceased by his first wife Penny (nee Qually) and brother Brian.  Peter will also be fondly remembered by Brad, Carolyn (Cam), Beverly (Fred), Susan (Rob), Pamela (John), Jeremy, Jarett, Henry, Bob, Bruce (Sharon), Josh (Katie), Matt, Lindsay, Graham, and Dianne.  Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street on Sunday, July 10th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please consider donations to L.H.S.C.
