This was always my one favourite family experience in real estate. Nothing ever came second to Bill Brennan Senior. I remember meeting him and it was a classic handshake and if only the world had more such Giants as he we would not be in the mess we are today. But this today is about his son Bill and Judy please remember the old saying " the best is yet to come" in which I always believed it referred to the other side where no one wants to come back to earth. This will be a hard year for you Judy - I lost Marg last year and would not want her back because I know she is better off than I am on earth and that would be selfish. If I may say so I sang "Unchained Melody" and Harris Home funeral and others said it was the best service ever. I was very strong in voice and I do know my Irish tenor was sweet and powerful. On Marg's dying breathe Marg said Norm was my Love Match - not love mate but love match. So very sad for your loss but in my opinion it is Gods Gain. Give me a shout if you want - we have something in common - we were both married to God's finest.

The world has lost a kind and loving person in Bill. Bill's family and ours have been connected since we were together in Kindergarten at St. Michael's school and our friendship continued with our circle of friends through high school and beyond. Bill was a great storyteller. Whether it was proudly talking of Judy and his children, sharing a business venture or just recalling great times together as kids, there was always a story to tell. Bill was kind and welcoming and his laugh was unforgettable. We will remember Bill always as a gentleman and a friend. The Brennan family,
I am deeply saddened by Bills passing. I will not dwell on his passing, but will rejoice in the incredible life that Bill lived. His innate ability to make friends easily and to foster those friendships for a lifetime is a gift rarely bestowed on anyone. His life touched so many people over the years, as I’m sure you are discovering.
Bill and I had the opportunity to have many conversations over the last couple of years, and we laughed over so many frivolous and stupid things we did as adolescents. As we cruised the backroads and beaches of Lake Huron and southwestern Ontario, the topic generally came around to close friendships and family. Bill lived his Roman Catholic faith every day and loved his family. It was during these conversations I came to realize how deeply he lived and loved both.
A life well lived.

We are saddened by the death of our friend Bill. Rarely does one have friendships for a lifetime, but I was so fortunate to know Bill for 65 years. We started grade one, high school and university together, Bill was the best man at Joanne and my wedding and despite life taking us in different directions, the connection was always there, and always treasured. Each time we visited, it was like old times, the bond was always there.
Bill and I had many experiences, exploits and shenanigans throughout the years, pushing the limits of just about anything and everything we were involved with. Mostly all good fun. From weekends at the Brennan’s cottages in Invercairn and Lake of Bays, to dreamed up high school business ventures, creative fun adventures of canoe trips and planned social events, Bill was always a generous, kind, creative, fun friend, who was always there when we were in need. He was a friend who you could always trust. Honest, smart, a quick wit, incredible memory, and a fellow who was always willing to debate any current events, state of the economy and especially politics.
We will always treasure our friendship with Bill and Judy.
Our hearts go out to Judy and Bill’s family for the challenging last number of years.

Bill, “How very softly you tiptoed into our world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint your footsteps have left upon our hearts.” – Dorothy Ferguson. He was one of the wisest men I knew and was highly respected in the industry. I always said to myself that if I was ever to own my own company I would run it like Bill ran his. My deepest sympathy to all of Bills family.
I will always Cherish knowing Bill and the discussions we had relating to the world. I live in the USA, and told many people that if i wanted to find out what was going on in my country, I would call Bill to find out. He knew exactly what was going on.
I had many great experiences with Bill in my early years with Scotchman. A fond memory was when I had drove our demo truck up to Canada, and had Bill riding with me. Going down the interstate, we came to a way scale, and they flagged us to pull over and wait for officer to come out. They came out went through my log book and found some mistakes. They said that they could make me stay put for 8 hrs until book was cleared. They then looked at Bill and asked if he was the Co-driver? He immediately through his hands up in the air, and said OH NO, I am just riding along. When we finally got released to go again, we laughed about that for many miles. I said you sure had my back that time. Bill was a great guy and will be missed by all of us at Scotchman. I was blessed to have known him.
