At home on February 16, 2022 Mary Elizabeth (Lewis) Bernardo in her 96th year of London, formerly of Clandeboye. Beloved wife of the late Albert Joseph Bernardo (1996). Will be deeply missed by devoted daughter Debra of London. Dear sister of the late Murray Lewis and the late Jean Lewis. Survived by her sister-in-law Sally Lewis and brother-in-law Hugh Raby. Aunt Mary will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families, friends, and neighbours. Mary will be deeply missed by her adopted families Yudy, Pacheco and Aurora and the Hilliard clan. Will be missed by Bratty Cat and Beans. Mary's greatest loves were family, crafting, cooking, gardening, travel, and she was grateful for all the blessings in her life. A special thanks to the many people and support services who made mom's journey more comfortable. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, February 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Prayers will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:45. Proof of double vaccination and government ID will be required upon entry. Masks are mandatory. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin's Church, 855 Jalna Blvd, on Wednesday, February 23 at 11 o’clock. Registration will be required upon entry. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care, c/o St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation, the Humane Society London Middlesex or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
