Vineski-Lenko, Kathryn
Kathryn passed away peacefully at University Hospital on December 24, 2021, with her long-time soulmate and spouse E.T. Mitch Lenko, and her son Ken at her side. She is also survived by son Lawrence and stepsons Kevin, Daniel, Stephen, Brendan, Peter and Gregory. Kathryn lived life with passion, determination and a perseverance that allowed her to make her dreams come true. Her accomplishments in her professional career led her from humble beginnings in retail to Director of purchasing at Denby Canada. When Denby moved their operation back to their parent company in England, she finished her career as Senior Inventory manager at Toronto Hydro with its many subsidiaries. Her coworkers and staff remembered her as a true leader and professional in every sense of the word. She was noted for her warm smile and enduring charm, keen sense of fashion both professionally and in her leisure, while maintaining a tireless work ethic. Her drive and relentless determination carried through to her personal life as well. She battled through five separate bouts of cancer from 1973-2017, that included her first being a stage four challenge. She triumphed over each with same will and belief and an inner strength that defined her true nature. Kathryn was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Her zest for life led her to be truly loved by her soulmate Mitch, by her sons, and by everyone sufficiently fortunate to cross her path. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
