My husband John Burr and I live on Vancouver Island. Our daughter Tania Burr lives in London, Ontario. A few years ago, while I was visiting London, Tania and I went to have a cup of coffee with Uncle Peter. We had soooooooooo much fun sharing memories.
Peter, Nichole, Andress and Kathleen were such a Godsend to our young family when we all lived in London. They lived just a short block from us. Everyone knows that young parents need a break every once in awhile. Well, inevitably, Peter, Nichole, Andress and/or Kathleen would come over and look after baby Tania while John and I had a "date". To this day I am extremely grateful to this family for the love they shared with us. Peter, may God keep you safe in Divine arms. We love you.

My sympathies go out to the family. Peter appeared before me in court hundreds of times. He was a true "officer of the court", well prepared, informed, helpful, and able to make quick decisions. We also drank many cups of coffee in my office, where I enjoyed his intelligence, wit, and common sense. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word.

Peter was a loyal friend, a great storyteller, and great helper to so many people in the London Courthouse. He was an avid sports fan and just an all around good guy. Like everyone who knew him, I will miss him and remember him.
