Obituary of Anthony Joseph Durand

Durand At Marian Villa Retirement Home on Tuesday, October 19, 1999, Rev. Father Anthony J. Durand, B.A., M.A., Ph.D., age 87, Roman Catholic Priest of the Diocese of London. Father Durand was a longtime member of the faculty at St. Peter's Seminary. Dear brother of Joseph Durand of London, Sister Mary Rachel O.S.U. of Chatham, John Durand of Detroit, Michigan and Charles Durand of Lansing, Michigan. Predeceased by his brothers Rev. Fr. Remi Durand, Giles Durand and his sisters Lenore Mompetit, Loretta Hartlieb, verona Hourigan, Videlle Murphy and Mary Hurley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, Then to lie in state at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Saturday morning from 9 o'clock where the Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 o'clock, with the Most Reverend John Michael Sherlock, Bishop of London celebrant.
