Obituary of James William Hayes

Hayes, James William (July 9, 1931 – May 3, 2020) Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday May 3rd 2020 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Emily (nee Colynuck) for 60 years. Dearly loved father of James Peter (Jennifer). Cherished grandfather of Amanda Vangaalen (Tyler), Samantha Finlayson, Danielle Hayes and great grandfather of McKenzie. Beloved uncle of Mark Tiede (Wendy), great uncle of Veronica (Kyle) and Emma, and great great uncle of Landon. James is predeceased by his parents James and Bess, his brother Robert, and his sister Shirley. At the end, death came as a friend. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
