Obituary of Linda Pistor

Pistor, Linda It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Pistor (nee Cicuto) on May 2, 2020. She was born in 1925 in Valvasone, Italy and came to Canada in 1951. She married her husband Mose who predeceased her in 2009. She was the last surviving member of a family of four sisters and a brother, Norina, Luigia, Maria, and Giovanni. She is survived by her daughter Loretta (Iain) and was a proud nonna to grandson, Andres, and granddaughter Lisa (Peter) and great grandmother to Penelope and Marilena. Cherished family member to Jose. She loved to sew and cook and take care of her plants. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the staff at Longworth Retirement Home and to Justin, the paramedic who assisted her. A private family funeral was held at the Donohue Home and burial took place at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated at the London Food Bank or London Humane Society.
