Obituary of Silvana Gallina

Gallina, Silvana (nee Palleschi)

Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday, October 12, 2023 Silvana Gallina in her 90th year.  Predeceased by her loving husband Tommaso Gallina (2020).  Cherished mother of John and his wife Mary-Jane Gallina.  Proud Nonna of Thomas-John "TJ" (Alison Tupholme) and Jenna (Nick Chapman-Campos).  Dear sister of Rosina D'Amico (Pasquale), the late Giuseppe Palleschi (late Rina) and sister in law of  late Rocco (late Liliana), Archangela, Fernando (Fernanda), Alberto (Gina) and Bennito Gallina.  Silvana will be missed by her dear cousins Theresa Palleschi (late Arduino) and Marianina Basacco (late Nick).   Zia Silvana will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Hospital, Victoria Hospital and University Hospital for the special care our mother received the last three and a half months.  Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, October 20 from 9 am until 10:30.  The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning, October 20 at 11 o'clock.  Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.  Donations to London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF.ca) would be appreciated.
