Obituary of Amedeo Mascagni

MASCAGNI Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on June 23 2008, Amedeo Mascagni, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Carolina Mascagni (nee Tabellini). Loving father of Claudia (John) Pooley, Julie (John) Alexander and Grace (Paul) Patrick. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Christin Bryant, Cathrine Johansen, Leila Alexander; and Nicole, Faith and Sean Patrick. Great grandfather of Wesley and Cameron Bryant. Predeceased by his brothers Eligio and Marino Mascagni in Italy. Also survived by his family in Italy from where Amedeo emigrated to Canada in 1955. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Tuesday from 7-9 o'clock and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Thursday afternoon June 26, 2008 at 1 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Parkwood Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
