Galati, Carmelo Passed away with his family at his bedside after a lengthy battle, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Thursday, August 12, 2010, Carmelo Galati in his 76th year. Devoted and loving husband of Vittoria Galati for more than 52 years. Dedicated and caring father to his beloved children Antonio Galati and his wife Marilyn Isaquirre, Francesca Perry and her husband R. Don, Barbara Galati and Tomaso Galati. Cherished Nono to Jason Warner, Carmen Galati, Tyler Heywood-Galati, Amanda Galati and Samantha Perry; and great grandfather of Haiden Henry Froude. Dear brother of Catarina Pizzuti (the late Antonio) and uncle to Gabriel Pizzuti (Cathy) and family, John Pizzuti (Sandy) and family and brother-in-law to Vincenzo Serratore, Antonio Serratore and Francesco Serratore and their families. Predeceased by his parents Antonio Galati and Francesca Quattrocchi. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Monday morning August 16, 2010 at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter' Cemetery.
