Obituary of Ann Sylvia Cromie

ANN SYLVIA CROMIE (ROCHE)

February 21, 1940 – August 31, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ann Sylvia Cromie (Roche) at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton on August 31, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born on February 21, 1940, Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joys were her family and her faith. She gave her love generously and found happiness in the simple moments shared with the people she loved most. Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and remained a source of comfort and strength throughout her journey.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy (Neil), Pat (Lisa), Brian (Cheryl), and Sean (Debra), and her step-daughter, Lisamarie. She was the beloved sister of Stephen (Wendy) and was predeceased by her brother, Michael, and sister, Maureen.

Ann was a proud grandmother to Steven, Timothy, Nathan, Hannah, Abigail, Ashton, Ava, Maeve, Darah, Clare, and Rowan, and a cherished great-grandmother to Callahan, Sophie, Lillian, and Eleanor.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London, Ontario, on Saturday morning, September 5 at 10 am with visiting 1 hour prior.  Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

"Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace."
