Obituary of Giuseppe Malacaria
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe Malacaria at LHSC University Hospital on July 4 ,2026, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria (née Iellamo).
Cherished father of Andy (Mirella) Malacaria. Proud Nonno of Chanelle, Brianna, and Jordan.
Predeceased by his parents, Andrea and Vittoria Malacaria; his brother Domenico Malacaria and Vincenzo Malacaria; and his sister Carmela Corbo (Vincenzo).
Dear brother of Frank (Carmen) Malacaria, Lucia (late Enrico) Gamboso, and Antonio (Cleofe) Malacaria.
Giuseppe was a dear brother-in-law to Elvira Malacaria, Pino (Vera) Iellamo, Bettina (Natale) Grasso, Pina (late Domenico) Mazza, and Nina (late Battista) Cannella.
He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, July 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Wednesday, July 8 at 10 o'clock. Entombment will take place with his beloved wife, Maria, in the Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
