Peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, June 26, 2026, Teresa, loving wife of the late Vittorio Longo (2003), in her 94th year. Cherished mother of Luigi Longo and his wife Nella Andrade, Tony Longo and his wife Claire Renaud, Bruno Longo and his wife Carla Blaine, Carmela Longo and her late husband Ray Dorans, Anna Longo and her husband John McHugh. Loved "Nonna" of Chelsea, Brianna, Michelle (Kevin), Renee (Jafar), Isabella, Mariah (Frankie), Noah (Hannah), Victoria (Mark), Nicholas (Anna), Karen (Johnny), Mandy, Tyler, Sydney, Shay and Jude. Dear sister of the late Pasquale and his wife Anna, late Carmela Pacifico and her husband Fedele and Maria Desantis and her husband the late Leonardo and sister-in-law of Maria Longo. Predeceased by Annunziata Longo and her husband Tommaso, and Umberto Longo. Zia Teresa will be missed by her nieces and nephews in London and Montreal. Teresa's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Longwood Retirement Home for the three years it was home and the extraordinary care and compassion for her last year at Elmwood Place.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, June 28 from 6pm - 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning, June 29 at 10 am. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In honouring Teresa's wish in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
