The family of Robert Michael Giampa wishes to share that he passed away on May 31, 2026. Robert is survived by his loving parents, Shelly and Franco, his cherished sister Brittany (Ernest) and his best friend Mabel, aunts and uncles, Maria, Brian, Tina (Brad), Tom (Danielle), Kathy (Len); and cousins. Cherished grandson of Don and Marjorie Woodward and Tommaso and Elisabetta Giampa.

Robert’s keen intelligence and curiosity led him towards many activities. Born and raised in London Ontario, Robert attended and graduated from Fanshawe college with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Robert loved the outdoors and time with his dog, travel, fishing, especially with his father in Prince Rupert, BC. He was a foodie and excelled in culinary cuisine. He thoroughly enjoyed board games and time spent with his family and friends. 

Robert will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle soul. He was always there for others to lend them a helping hand.  He had a unique sense of humor and unscripted wit that we all loved. 
Robert will be remembered for the courage he showed in confronting mental health challenges.

His life has been celebrated with a simple family memorial. Plans are in place for a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family would ask that you respect their privacy at this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CAMH (www.camh.ca)
