Cathy, Patti, and Jackie Your dad was a gem. He adored you girls! I have so many wonderful memories of your dad, and I guess in a way he was a father figure to me too. I spent so much time at your house as a child. Your dad’s vegetable garden was a sight to behold! We ate peas, carrots, and beans right off the vine after a quick rinse from the hose. Nightly beach visits were a favourite, especially when it included ice cream. When the pool was put in I was a permanent fixture at the Brindle residence. I felt like I was the fourth kid. Your mom and dad are finally reunited and I can just picture them laughing together again. Tomorrow I will be there with you to say goodbye with a Heros send off which he so rightfully deserves.
