Doucet, “Ted” Burman Joseph
Peacefully on April 19, 2026, in his 86th year. Loving husband of Christa for 63 years. Loving father of Peter (Sheila) Doucet, and Shirley (Carey) Ura. Adored Opa to Ryan, Christine, Kayla, Caitlin, Justin, and Jacob. Loving great-grandfather (Tick-Tack) Opa to Serena, Elsie, and Persephone. Survived by his sister Loretta Robichaud. Predeceased by his parents Evangeline and Burman Doucet, and his sister Margaret. Ted bravely served our Canadian Armed Forces for 35 years and retired as a Major. His service will never be forgotten. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday, April 24th from 2-4p.m & 7-9p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 1251 Dundas Street, on Saturday, April 25th at 11a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ted are asked to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
