Obituary of Rikki Hoevenaars

HOEVENAARS, Hendrika "Rikki".   Passed away at AgeCare London, on April 19, 2026.   Beloved wife of the late Henricus "Harry" Hoevenaars (2014).   Loving mother of Elaine Tessolini (Ron) of Banff, Tony Hoevenaars (late Lynne) of Aurora, Rick Hoevenaars (Gail) of London, Mike Hoevenaars (Tammy Gindli) of Uxbridge, Bob Hoevenaars (Nancy) of London, and Ken Hoevenaars (Mary) of LaSalle. Cherished Oma of Moneca, Jenna, Jeff, Paul, Alex, Eric, Derek, Richelle, Erin, Matthew, Lisa, Colin, Darren, Danielle, Jocelyn, Evan, Clare, and Neil. Loving great Oma of 34 great grandchildren. Sister of Nellie VanderSteen and, Harry Van Genugten , both in Holland and Peggy Van Geffen (late Gerry) of Ottawa. Dear aunt of her extended family in Ottawa and Holland. 

She will live in our hearts forever as a tremendous example of unconditional love, dedication, loyalty, perseverance and strength. Rikki loved life and made anyone she was with, love it with her.  She will be missed by each person touched by her love and friendship.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street on Friday, May 1 at 11 am.   Interment St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
