Maguire, Madeleine (née Houle)

Peacefully on April 13, 2026, Madeleine Maguire passed away at the age of 85. Born on October 6, 1940, Madeleine lived a life centered on family, care, and quiet strength.

She is reunited with her beloved husband, Jimmy, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship.

Madeleine will be deeply missed by her children: Linda (George), Suzanne, Ron (Selina), and Raymond. She was a devoted mother whose warmth and presence will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her siblings Claire, Eline, Georgette, and Ronald “Pete.” She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Richard, Monique and Heather. Madeleine will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Ben Nolet and her nephew Jeff Nolet, along with extended family and friends.

Madeleine’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Service will take place at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, April 17th at 12p.m. with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
