Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Mount Hope Centre for Long-Term Care on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Mrs. Shirley Marie Rolston of London passed away in her 85th year. Beloved mother of Mark Rolston and Liz Rolston of Airdrie, AB and Trevor Rolston and Kara Rolston of Bolton. Cherished grandmother of Joel, Tia (Rolston)Fehr, Isabella, and Charlotte. Great grandmother to Nora. Survived by her dear sister Ruth Dewar. Loving aunt of Keith Dewar; Carol Dewar (Paul); Karen Dewar-Birk (Dave); Andrea Buurs (Kevin); Larry Daer (Mireille); Michael Daer; Nicholas Daer (Jackie); Owen Wallace (Rebecca) and Stacey Barton. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy Daer and Martha Daer, her sister Marilyn Wallace, her brothers Alvin Daer and Gordon Daer, her sister-in-law Janet Daer and her brothers-in-law Brian Wallace and Donald Dewar. Shirley generously donated her body to science to support the training of future physicians at University Hospital. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care London or the charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph’s Mount Hope Centre for Long-Term Care for their compassionate care and support.
