McLaughlin, James "Jim"

At LHSC University Hospital, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Jim McLaughlin, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Patricia McLaughlin. Proud father of the late Lori King (Anthony), Kathy McLaughlin, and Mark McLaughlin (Terri Feltz). Predeceased by his siblings Audrey Latimer (Jack), Eleanor Wigle (Charles), Marjorie Smith (William), Patricia Tyndall (Charles) and Gary McLaughlin. Uncle Jim will be dearly missed by the extended family - the Latimer, Smith, Wigle and Joy families. Jim was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Past Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree, Honourable Henry Edward Dormer Assembly.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, February 4 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Thursday February 5 at 11:30 am. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations to Knights of Columbus or St. Joseph's Health Care Specialized Geriatrics and Long Term Care. The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers who supported Jim this past year, including Parkwood Hospital, Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, and LHSC University Hospital - Emergency Room, Spiritual Care and Palliative Care teams.
